Targacept Among "Best Places to Work" in Industry

On May 2, 2011, The Scientist magazine announced the winners of its 9th annual "Best Places to Work in Industry" survey. This year's survey yielded responses from representatives of 256 companies worldwide. Targacept ranked 23rd, making the list for the fifth consecutive year.

Companies participate in the survey by invitation only. Members of the scientific staffs at the companies surveyed were asked to assess their working environment according to 45 criteria in eight different categories, including job satisfaction, benefits, training and integrity. The most highly ranked factors by respondents at Targacept were Management and Job Satisfaction.
