Strategic Alliances:

  Global collaboration and license agreement with AstraZeneca for TC-5214 for the treatment of major depressive disorder.

Exclusive global license and research collaboration with AstraZeneca AB for the development and commercialization of AZD3480 (TC-1734) to treat ADHD and AZD1446 (TC-6683) to treat Alzheimer's disease and potentially other cognitive disorders.

In addition, as of November 2007,  TC-5619 is subject to a future option of AstraZeneca for an exclusive license under the collaboration agreement.

Exclusive global strategic alliance with GlaxoSmithKline focused in five therapeutic areas: smoking cessation, pain, obesity, addiction and Parkinson's disease.


Intellectual Property:  PentadTM, a proprietary drug discovery platform; and an extensive patent estate covering compounds that act on NNRs

Inversine® (mecamylamine HCl), indicated for the treatment of moderately severe to severe essential hypertension and for uncomplicated cases of malignant hypertension
