Strategic Alliances:

  Exclusive global license and research collaboration with AstraZeneca AB for the development and commercialization of AZD3480 (TC-1734) to treat Alzheimer’s disease, cognitive dysfunction in schizophrenia and other cognitive disorders, as well as a multi-year research collaboration.

In addition, as of November 2007, AstraZeneca secured a future option for an exclusive license to TC-5619.

Exclusive global strategic alliance with GlaxoSmithKline focused in five therapeutic areas: pain, smoking cessation, obesity, addiction and Parkinson's disease.


Intellectual Property:  PentadTM, a proprietary drug discovery platform; and an extensive patent estate covering compounds that act on NNRs
